Gotta tell you I don’t mess with a ton of these reviews,stars etc. but I came across this Book of yours and was quite pleased after I started reading past a few chapters. Working with a screwed up reader set-up on my laptop since I couldn’t figure out how I got it on my ePub reader for windows and couldn’t move it to my iPhone, it took me a couple sessions to get it read. I appreciate your style and accuracy of military terms, post apocalyptic aftermath ( with good character development by the way!) and then the Alien “scare” at the end turning out to be some more of what we are experiencing now in our daily lives! Wow! Good job!You got me hooked and I want in on your program--- KJKeithcart@hotmail.com I would/will file a review for you on this. I don’t know how I missed your books for this long. definitely putting you on my following list. going back to end of book to get more info on your specifics.

A different take on the end of the world. Even if you don't like science fiction (I quit reading it in high school) this is a thriller. Military, prepper, survival, it has it all. I can't wait for the next one!
These book continue to entertain. Masterfully written, I went back through and read the series over for fun. I have never done that before and found I enjoyed this much I wanted to experience it again. for me it was like getting caught up in a movie you have seen and cant stop watching. I cant put this RA Peters books down. Keep the books coming they are great, Thanks Jay
Was looking for a survival story about the apocalypse and it turned into a syfy thriller. Still a good book well written with way to follow story line. Characters develop well and the story ties things together.
This is my 4th book by Peters. He has a gift of telling a story that keeps you turning pages (or at least electronic pages!). Very knowledgeable about current military SOP and hardware. Will continue to read his books as they come out.
I have a new favorite author! -- one who can write seamlessly of a female soldier who is up-front in full battle rattle, and sustain the action on both a major war against a seemingly-invulnerable enemy, and another one within our own shores. He portrays his scenarios in a living, believable manner, and I didn't want to turn off my reader. This one is a definite keeper, and I'm looking forward to the next book.
Pollitacally correct book. I get it women rock! They can do anything a man does (and since the whole seal team she is running dies and she survives, clearly better then men) women rock! And since the muslium prince looks at her as the greatest warrior he has ever seen and puts her in charge of his muslium army, women rock! Oh she also is the only person in the whole world to kill multiple enemy ships and is told so repeatedly by the military "man" generals, women rock! Oh and when she does take lead to the head, she's brought back to life. Women rock! I love the silo series but this book is just not my cup of tea. OH I HAVE TO GO MY WIFE IS CALLING.....
In general, this is an interesting post-apocalyptic saga, and I look forward to the sequel(s) to see how it develops. There is an EMP element to the plot but it doesn't cripple the world as much as is typical in most novels.
I do agree with another reviewer that burning ammunition doesn't go off with lethal force. Without a gun barrel to compress and provide directional control, you get a random explosion that is much milder than what is achieved when firing a gun.
The prepper angle is interesting - this prepper loses all of his stashed goods in a fire, and is forced to make his way with whatever he can find, looking after his teen stepdaughter and protecting her from the new class of predators.
We'll see what happens next.
